On Dec. 4, the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, including District 6 in Queen Creek, participated in the Shop with a Cop event, ringing in holiday cheer by giving back to the community. They provided a fun-filled morning shopping with local children to provide Christmas gifts to these specials kids while creating positive relationships with law enforcement.

Here are the current numbers from over the weekend, beginning on Friday, Dec. 3.

These agencies will be working extra hard over the holiday season to help keep Valley roads safe.

“This is a very exciting moment for our community,” Mayor Gail Barney said. “Public safety continues to be one of our top priorities and the swearing in of our Queen Creek Police Department (QCPD) personnel is quite the milestone. We are proud to welcome these professional men and women to our fantastic community."

Aims to educate and support law enforcement when interacting with deaf, hard of hearing and deafblind communities.

The Pinal County Sheriff's Office is collecting unwrapped new and unused toys for children 6 months to 17 years old through Dec. 7.

The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) District 6 - Queen Creek reminds residents to stay alert and shop safely this weekend and beyond, whether online or in person.

People are asked to adjust their travel plans, if possible.
