On the evening of Nov. 10, the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office conducted a procession from HonorHealth Scottsdale Osborn, carrying the fallen lieutenant's body. Many MCSO officers were visibly shaken as they honored the fallen lieutenant. 

The Queen Creek Police Department is up to 40 officers as the department continues to grow. The department officially launches on Jan. 11, 2022.

Although located in Mesa, Eastmark High School is in the Queen Creek Unified School District. 

Officers have been put through numerous hours of training in preparation for the official launch of the Queen Creek Police Department on Jan. 11, 2022.

The event tested the skills and abilities of MCSO cadets in a variety of law enforcement scenarios.

The Pioneer Justice Court has approximately 600 active misdemeanor warrants and its jurisdiction covers San Tan Valley and the Pinal County section of Queen Creek.

There will be more town halls in the future in different parts of Pinal County. 

The event will be from 7:30 to 10 a.m. at the Starbucks located at 757 W. Hunt Highway.
