With the coaches all sharing the same goals as the athletic director, they have the freedom to establish their team’s culture, something that can often last far beyond a coach’s time with the team. That freedom to build their team and program the way they see fit is a big reason why many coaches made the move to Crismon.

Until the wintertime arrives, the team is focusing on using the last few chances it has in the off season to identify its weaknesses and improve upon them ahead of a tough battle for playoffs in the 6A season.

Arizona Soccer Club’s under-13 girls team features seven players from Queen Creek

He has 11 years of coaching experience as head track and field coach at Boulder Creek High School and as assistant sprint coach with the Phoenix Elite Track Club (post collegiate athletes).

"Coach Acosta is headed to Arizona to join the Crismon team and we are excited to have him," said Queen Creek Unified School District officials. 

When our students become champions, they open new doors to higher education, career opportunities and experiences that will shape who they become. When we support these activities, we are championing our future.

Last summer Mexico faced off against Honduras in the same stadium in front of a sell-out crowd, again almost entirely made up of Mexican supporters. There is a huge Mexican population in Phoenix and for many, the only chance they get to see their national team play is when they come to town, so anytime Mexico plays in the Valley it’s a big attraction. 

Regardless of what sports Logan Hubler goes on to play, he’ll no doubt be fun to watch.
