Mikhail Barton is the new track and field coach at Crismon High School in Queen Creek. He has 11 years of coaching experience as head track and field coach at Boulder Creek High School and as assistant sprint coach with the Phoenix Elite Track Club (post collegiate athletes).

Crismon High is opening this month when school begins July 27 in the Queen Creek Unified School District. The third district high school is still under construction on a master-planned campus of more than 76 acres. It will feature technology-rich, collaborative learning spaces as well as comprehensive academics including AP and dual enrollment courses, athletics and arts programs. It will feature career path academies dedicated to STEM, Health Sciences, Business and Leadership, and Design and Construction. Its mascot is the Crismon Rattlers.
