The Queen Creek Police Department has partnered with Life Force Community Services, the Pappas Kids schoohouse foundation and Central Christian Church to collect back-to-school supplies for local children in need.
A donation box is set up in the lobby of the Law Enforcement and Community Chambers building, at 20727 Civic Parkway in Queen Creek.
They are asking people to drop off donations by July 14. Items in short supply and needed are: pencils, glue sticks, two-pocket folders and erasers.
