QCPD seeking officer recruits to serve with respect, compassion, trust

Applications for police officer recruits will be accepted through Sunday, April 21. New hires are tentatively expected to start the police academy beginning in September. Upon successful completion of the academy, recruits will attend post-academy training at the Queen Creek Police Department before completing a field training program. 

The Queen Creek Police Department (QCPD) is currently hiring police officer recruits. QCPD is seeking recruits who align with the organization’s philosophy of community-based policing and serving with respect, compassion and trust. Applications will be accepted through Sunday, April 21.

New hires are tentatively expected to start the police academy beginning in September. Upon successful completion of the academy, recruits will attend post-academy training at the Queen Creek Police Department before completing a field training program.

The minimum qualifications for the officer recruit positions include:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.

  • At least 21 years of age (or attain the age of 21 by the completion of police academy graduation which is anticipated to be sometime in February 2025).

  • No felony convictions (or conviction for any offense that would be a felony if committed in Arizona).
