The Queen Creek Police Department recognized Detective Lauren Wallace, the recipient of a special award presented by Chief Randy Brice, at a law enforcement appreciation event hosted this week by the Pinal County Attorney's Office.
Police officials said Detective Wallace was honored during National Crime Victims Rights Week for her passion, commitment and detailed follow through in cases involving some of the most vulnerable victims of crime in our community, children.
