New MCSO deputies, officers sworn in this week

The new MCSO recruits were sworn in this week as academy class 156.

A brand new class of prospective deputies and police officers started this week with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office (MCSO).

The new MCSO recruits were sworn in this week as academy class 156 and includes county deputies for the Glendale Police Department, Goodyear Police Department, Gila County Sheriff's Office, Scottsdale Police Department, Avondale Police Department and Salt River Police Department.

Recruits spent seven weeks in the MCSO Detention Academy.
