Dispose of your cooking oil, grease responsibly

Pouring used cooking oil and grease down your drain can cause backups and overflows, and putting it in your trash or recycling carts can cause fires. By recycling instead, you help keep town sewers working correctly. Plus, your used cooking oil and grease are converted into biodiesel fuel.

This holiday season, save your drain by recycling your used cooking oil and grease at the Queen Creek Recycling Center or Fire Station 2.

Thanksgiving is a great time to take advantage of the town’s free cooking oil recycling program. The used oil is collected and turned into clean biodiesel fuel. Collection containers are available year-round at the Queen Creek Recycle Center, located at 22638 S. Ellsworth Road, and Fire Station 2, located at 24787 S. Sossaman Road.
