Ellsworth Road in the downtown core is lined with lighted trees, festive wreaths and opportunities for photo ops just in time for the 41st annual Queen Creek Holiday Festival & Parade today.

“We're very happy we're able to bring this event to the community. It's one my family grew up attending and it means a lot to the community,” said Chris Clark, president and CEO of the Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce. “We know it is one the children enjoy between the thousands of children in the parade and hundreds on the stages, it's a great family event.”

College and career advisors encouraged all high school students to attend the fair as it helped students who are still deciding on their post-graduation plans gain insight on what their future may hold.

The Queen Creek Barro's is located in the Queen Creek Marketplace, at 20415 E. Rittenhouse Road.

The town’s trail system provides connectivity throughout town and with neighboring communities. All trails other than the wash bottoms (reserved for equestrians) are multi-use trails. Please be QC neighborly and remember equestrians have the right of way.

She's residing at Friends for Life's adoption center, at 952 W. Melody Ave. in Gilbert. Alexa is spayed, microchipped, licensed and current on vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $325.

Drivers should use caution with work still possible near freeways

In many instances, I've noticed that mental health issues are not the primary problem – children being bullied at school is the root of these mental health issues this year. Any sudden change in the child’s usual behavior could be a good indicator that something is going on. And these behavior changes can all affect performance in school.

Local nonprofits in the Valley are partnering with Robert Craig Films in the hopes of spreading awareness and helping with the ongoing homeless epidemic in our country.
