The pop-up dog park will be located on the north side of Founders' Park, 22407 S. Ellsworth Road. There will be a designated area for small/timid dogs and a separate area for large/active dogs.

Gov. Ducey signs bill to raise kinship stipend

The bill, sponsored by Weninger of Chandler, will increase kinship stipends from $75 a month to $300 a month. It pairs with a bill the governor signed, H.B. 2084, which allows the Arizona Department of Child Safety (DCS) to create a swift pathway to licensure for kin. Caregivers who are licensed will have the same level of financial support as foster care providers.
