“This ceremonial promotional ceremony recognizes the dedication and commitment of our membership,” shared QCFMD Chief Vance Gray. “Many of these individuals were officially promoted months ago, serving our community with compassion in a new role for months before being recognized. This selfless service is what the Queen Creek Fire and Medical Department stands for – keeping the community and one another safe."

The RISE Agency Grant Program provides financial assistance to local agencies and community partners.

The mission's Code:Red Heat Relief Campaign goes through Aug. 31 and aims to save vulnerable populations within Maricopa County from the deadly summer heat by distributing 1 million water bottles and helping get people off the streets. They've distributed more than 230,000 water bottles and provided more than 430 heat-relief transport rides so far this summer to people living on the streets of the Valley.

They are one of the first high schools in the nation to perform the critically acclaimed play from the mind of J. K. Rowling. It was announced in late 2023 that high schools would be able to officially license the play through Broadway Licensing Global, but they had to be chosen.

All funds raised throughout 2024 will go directly to Phoenix Children’s Hope Fund, which provides support to the area of greatest need, enabling Phoenix Children’s to provide comprehensive care across all ages, conduct innovative research, advance education for the next generation of clinical leaders and advocate for the health and well-being of local children and families.

Proposition 479 will fund the next generation of transportation projects, including the permanent expansion of the State Route 24. These improvements will have a generational impact enhancing connectivity, reducing traffic congestion, and furthering public safety by ensuring first responders can get to us as quickly as possible.

The Maricopa Association of Governments provides a forum for local governments in the greater Phoenix region. Member agencies consist of 27 municipalities, three Native nations, Maricopa County, portions of Pinal County and the Arizona Department of Transportation.

In addition to offering a wide variety of running and walking gear, Sole Sports offers weekly training runs, supports local running clubs and youth programs, sponsors local races and donates $10,000 back into the local community. Beyond the drag strip, the event will feature a car show with a variety of collector cars to inspire any car aficionado. There will also be a vendor’s station after the drive or during the event for drivers to take a break from the adventure under the stars.
