“Throughout the last six years of being a member of First Tee Phoenix I have grown a lot both as a golfer and as a person," Walden said. "I have met some amazing people along the way, a lot of them will remain close friends of mine forever. The First Tee program has taught me so much more than just how to golf. It’s taught me some very important life skills that I will use every single day for the rest of my life.”

“This is our second Hampton by Hilton product and we were so excited to be able to bring the first hotel to Queen Creek,” said Samantha Stallings, corporate director of operations and sales with HD Hospitality.

The Nov. 12 game was also Senior Night.

“I think moving forward we’ll take a constant uptake in the trend as far as the percentages,” said Peggy Overton, director of transportation for the Queen Creek Unified School District. “Right now, our biggest challenge in Queen Creek is keeping up with the growth of the community. Sometimes the growth drives us to add additional routes, thus far we have been able to balance that very well.”

Remaining market dates this year are coming up on Nov. 27, Dec. 11 and Dec. 18.

Beginning at 7 a.m. and going until produce is sold out, the farmers market is located at 40815 N. Ironwood Dr. Parking is at the northeast corner of Ironwood Drive and Ocotillo Road.

On the evening of Nov. 10, the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office conducted a procession from HonorHealth Scottsdale Osborn, carrying the fallen lieutenant's body. Many MCSO officers were visibly shaken as they honored the fallen lieutenant. 

“It’s an honor to be in this position. We have a good board of directors who helps me throw together all these projects. We have a lot going on throughout the year,” said Jerry Kolesiak, president of Veterans Club at Encanterra.
