With a hip-shaking rock-n-roll score featuring hits like "Greased Lightnin'," "Summer Nights" and "We Go Together," the performance celebrates Rydell High's Class of 1959 in all their duck-tailed, bobby-soxed, gum-snapping glory.

Gardner will replace John Kross, who will retire on Jan. 20, 2023. Kross has served as Queen Creek’s town manager since 2007 and will continue in that role until his retirement.

Currently, 1 in 44 children are diagnosed with autism in the U.S., according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. A growing number of individuals also have sensory sensitivities or are receiving a diagnosis later in life. The need has never been greater to ensure that first responders understand how to understand and help autistic individuals. 

After a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a night of free holiday movies returns to the East Valley discount theater tonight.

The event is hosted by the Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce at McFarland State Park, 24 W. Ruggles St.

“We have about 20 vendors from last year that are returning,” said Dawn Veraldo, coordinator of the market. “I mean, we just love being a part of the community and bringing the community into the church and giving back to the Queen Creek community. That's what it's all about.”

QCPD officers have been out all year having a lot of fun meeting residents at various cops, cars and coffee events like this one over the weekend at Rock Point Church. They always have time for kids of all ages wanting to check out their new vehicles and technology.
