Beginning at 7 a.m. and going until produce is sold out on Saturday, Feb. 12, local vendors will be lined up at the farmers market, located at 40815 N. Ironwood Drive.

The Arizona Renaissance Festival and Artisan Marketplace offers an opportunity to enjoy and explore the outdoor 50-acre village for nine consecutive weekends (Saturdays, Sundays and Presidents Day Monday) through April 3, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. rain or shine.

All proceeds from the annual VNSA Used Book Sale benefit Valley human service agencies.

The westbound State Route 24 on-ramp at Ellsworth Road is scheduled to be closed from 5 a.m. to  5 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 12.

Eastbound US 60 will be closed between Interstate 10 and Hardy Drive from 2 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 13 to 4 a.m. Monday, Feb.14 for roadway restriping in conjunction with the I-10 Broadway Curve Improvement Project.

The Controller Programming Basics workshop will be at 9 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 12 in the Zane Grey Room at the Queen Creek Library, 21802 S. Ellsworth Road.

The cooking oil recycling will reopen to residents starting Monday, Feb. 14 at the Queen Creek Recycling Center on Ellsworth Road, north of Crewse Lane.
