“We have about 20 vendors from last year that are returning,” said Dawn Veraldo, coordinator of the market. “I mean, we just love being a part of the community and bringing the community into the church and giving back to the Queen Creek community. That's what it's all about.”

QCPD officers have been out all year having a lot of fun meeting residents at various cops, cars and coffee events like this one over the weekend at Rock Point Church. They always have time for kids of all ages wanting to check out their new vehicles and technology.

The 89-year-old loves sharing the framed collection that fills her Chandler bedroom studio. Her hospice care team, which includes Collins, nurse Cheryl Adams and social worker Susan Dabreo, enjoy watching the creative process unfold, as MacDonald transforms a blank canvas into a beautiful landscape, floral arrangement or family portrait.

Sharing their pride for colleges and universities during “AVID Wednesdays” is just one way teachers and staff engage students in discussions about post secondary options and careers, in a district-wide mission to prepare them for their future.

The shop is currently preparing hams and turkeys for the holiday season. They typically make about 800 turkeys and 1,000 hams to sell. They begin preparing the holiday meats about a month before each holiday of the season because it takes about two weeks to smoke the meat, and the amount that they make cannot be made all at once when the holidays arrive.
