QCPD community policing going strong in 1st year of service

QCPD officers have been out all year having a lot of fun meeting residents at various cops, cars and coffee events like this one over the weekend at Rock Point Church. They always have time for kids of all ages wanting to check out their new vehicles and technology.

Since launching the Queen Creek Police Department (QCPD) this year at midnight on Jan. 11, Chief Randy Brice has indicated that community policing would be a priority so that all his officers could be out in the community meeting with resident families of all ages.

QCPD officers have been out all year having a lot of fun meeting residents at various cops, cars and coffee events like this one over the weekend at Rock Point Church. They always have time for kids of all ages wanting to check out their new vehicles and technology.

All QCPD officers have undergone extensive training, with a focus on decision making, partnerships and community collaboration.

QCPD’s non-emergency number is 480-358-3500.
