Link Crew is a club that helps new students learn the ins and outs of the Queen Creek campus and brings excitement for the new school year, which began on July 22. Link Crew helps makes the transition from junior high to high school easier as they help answer questions, find classrooms, and be a familiar face for incoming freshmen.

Inspired by Dora’s adventures, this event includes a scavenger hunt through the zoo’s Forest of Uco, a photo-op with cutouts of Dora, Boots and Swiper, and a screening of an episode of "Dora the Explorer" in the Doornbos Amphitheater at 9:30 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. All Dora activities are included with general admission into the zoo.

Hepatitis causes inflammation or swelling of the liver. There are five main viruses that can cause hepatitis: A, B, C, D and E. However, hepatitis C (hep C) is the most common hepatitis virus in the United States. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that all people ages 18 and older get tested for hepatitis B and hepatitis C at least once in their lifetimes and that all pregnant people get tested at least once each pregnancy.

ADOT: State Board of Transportation OKs contract to restore limited SR 88 access

Work is part of interim project to reopen 5 miles of the popular State Route 88 (Apache Trail) that was damaged by flooding in 2019 to limited public access when work is completed this September. Traveling between the East Valley and Roosevelt Lake, Apache Trail was built during construction of Theodore Roosevelt Dam, which was completed in 1911. Prior to closing in 2019, the stretch between Tortilla Flat and Apache Lake was used by an average of 232 vehicles daily.
