In partnership with sneakybird founder Dan Chaon, the local Strasser family franchise is in the midst of developing several locations across Maricopa County over the next 18 months, including a sister restaurant set for Hudson Station in Queen Creek targeted for opening by fall 2024. sneakybird also has plans for additional Southeast Valley restaurants by the close of 2025. 

Located at the northeast corner of Ellsworth and Ocotillo roads, The Switchyard encompasses 10 acres and will bring 54,000 square feet of in-demand restaurants, retail and office space to the Southeast Valley.

Seven Brothers Burgers started on the North Shore of Oahu and has expanded to seven locations in Utah and one in Arizona, the company's first franchise owned by Brad Crider in Queen Creek.

This decade-long event recognizes the best of the best in a variety of categories that represent culinary excellence in the Arizona food and beverage industry. Finalists and the winners in each category are chosen by peers and the dining community at large. The Queen Creek Olive Mill was recognized as "Uniquely Arizona."

Bringing approximately 150 full- and part-time jobs to the community. In celebration of the opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. has donated $25,000 to Feeding America in honor of the new restaurant. These funds will be distributed to partners in the greater Phoenix area to aid in the fight against hunger.

Local producer wins the Silver Award for its esteemed Estate Extra Virgin Olive Oil at the 2024 New York International Olive Oil Competition, regarded as the most prestigious olive oil competition in the world, which attracts entries from top producers worldwide. For the Queen Creek Olive Mill, this marks the third time the world competition has recognized its premium extra virgin olive oil.
