Specialty grocer Sprouts Farmers Market will launch the first phase, opening its doors to the public at 7 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 18. To celebrate the new store opening, Sprouts will be hosting giveaways, tastings, face paintings, entertainment and more through Sunday, Aug. 20.

The new four-lot Spur Cross Plaza currently under development at the northeast corner of Signal Butte and Ocotillo roads will consist of six different tenants, including Black Rock Coffee, Gina’s Salon and Fiiz Drinks. The final plat is the last stage in the subdivision approval process.

The new terminal expansion will be connected via an impressive pedestrian glass walkway connecting the airline ticket counters to the TSA Security Screening Checkpoint. It will also include new retail and concession space. The project is expected to be completed in February 2024, in time for the busy spring travel rush.
