Patricia A. (Luby) Mick, loving wife of Thomas and loving mother of Elizabeth, died peacefully surrounded by family in San Tan Valley, AZ, on Saturday January 13, 2024.

Patirica was born in Chicago, IL, on August 7, 1941, to Mary Ann Luby.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas; her daughter Elizabeth (Lisa); son in law James, and her beloved grandchildren, Thomas, Joseph, and Robert; brother-in-law, Raymond; niece, Jessica (Tony); nephew, Paul, and many cousins.

She made an impact on others through her actions, especially volunteer work, through the years. While in Illinois, she was a volunteer at St Germaine School and Catholic Church, The Courage Program, and was a Girl Scout leader for many years. She became a lifetime member of Girl Scouts based on her years of volunteer work and impact on the girls she worked with. She spent time working at the Oak Lawn library, sharing her love of literature with others. After moving to Arizona, she continued her volunteer work with Jose’s Closet and St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church.

She enjoyed learning about Native American and American History, doing crafts; especially homemade Christmas ornaments, reading books from her favorite authors, spending time with family and friends, and maintaining connections through email and Facebook. She loved watching her grandsons playing many different sports and attending many band concerts. She always left a lipstick mark from kissing their cheeks during their visits.
