Acknowledgement of The Life of Sandra Prophet

Sandra was a unique individual; you have to know her to love her. She was a woman in a class of her own, with a giving heart.  Sandra was born January 1, 1952, in Aiken, South Carolina to Phillip Lloyd and Juanita Prophet, she was the first of five children. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Phillip Lloyd and Juanita Prophet, as well as her daughter Michelle Prophet, and her sister Mable Prophet.  Sandra attended Washington, DC public schools before attending Howard University for photography. Sandra love photography and the Dallas Cowboys!  She worked for The Department of Transportation (DOT) in Washington, DC, as a conscientious hardworking Executive office manager for many years until her retirement in 2009. Anyone that knew her, knew her as a “Miss know-it-all” But behind that she had a very kind and loving heart.  She loved playing cards with her friends and family. Such as bid whist, blackjack, and tonk. She loved action movies, western movies and 25 words or less.  Sandra leaves behind to cherish her memories, her grandson, Cody Nathaniel Prophet, whom she raised after the passing of her daughter, Michelle. Her sister, Diane Liddell, who cared for her until the very end. Her sister Ernestine Prophet, her brother, Benjamin Tobin (Joyce), and her sister Connie whom she loved dearly, as well as her nieces Sheena D Robinson, and Keisha Joaquin-Blofsky (Tanner) who were there to the very end. Her great-nieces Nia Woodland (Corey) and Quelinda Matos who were there to the very end, as well. Her great-nephew Steve A. Lipscombe, whom she loved very much. Steve would often share in the thrills of various movies in between preparing any and all meals she requested. She also leaves behind a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, as well as great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends who loved her very much.

WE WILL MISS YOU SO VERY MUCH BUT WE MUST LET YOU GO TO LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE.  YOU WILL ALWAYS BE IN OUR HEARTS
