His sister Connie Snodgrass, daughter Venus Ross (Alvin), daughter Athena Hanson (Christopher Sr.), Grandchildren; Justin Segrave (Kristin), Amber Maloney (Garret), Chelsee Cassella, Christopher Hanson Jr. (Taylor), Ty Hanson, Ryan Hanson (Taylor), Great grandchildren; Elizabeth, Raelee, Sophia, Trinity, Roland, Gabriel, Taysom, Aubree, Seth, Ameila, Olivia. 2 stepchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 2 great step grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, and cherished friends that he loved and adored.
Information About Ed:
Ed grew up in Auburn, Washington and moved to the East Valley in 1972 with his young family. Residing many years in East Mesa, Scottsdale, Gold Canyon, and Flagstaff, he settled in the east valley with his wife Socorro to enjoy the rest of his retirement years. As a young man, Ed obtained his Doctorate Degree in Education Administration from Arizona State University where he was President of Phi Delta Kappa. He spent more than 25 years in the Scottsdale School District and his years as an Administrator and Principal at Coronado High School held some of his dearest memories. Ed was a huge ASU Sun Devil fan and big supporter of ASU athletics. A very generous man, he would never let you pay for a meal when you dined with him, supplied many family and friends with his season tickets to enjoy ASU football games and always gave to those who needed a little help. He was a private man but loved to enjoy a cold beer and conversation with those he considered his friends. He and his wife Socorro traveled extensively out of the country for pleasure when he retired but he loved visiting his daughters and grandchildren in Texas and Kansas several times a year. He was of Catholic faith and loved God at an early age. He loved his family dearly and even on his last days he was able to tell them how much he loved them all. After a lengthy battle with illness, he passed away peacefully at his daughter’s home in Texas with family by his side. He is deeply missed.

Services will be held Monday, June 27th, 2022 at 10am graveside service at Mountain View Memorial Gardens, 7900 E Main Street, Mesa, AZ 85207.
