Cynthia Ann Anderson was born on June 20th 1958 in Rahway, New Jersey, to Herman and Willa Rapp. She passed away peaceful in the early morning hours of February 11th, 2022 at Banner Hospital, in Queen Creek Arizona, at the side of her son Kyle and her husband Scott.  Cinde always maintained an active lifestyle both professionally, academically as well as in her personal life.

Throughout Cinde’s high school years, she was on the bowling team, she marched with the band in the color guard and maintained a cheerleader position for the Catholic youth. She even found time to win a canoe race!

Cinde’s beautiful smile was only rivaled by her endless passion to live life to its fullest. She had a faithful commitment to others and sense of service that led her into a career in nursing. She would later attend Coe College in Iowa and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in nursing.

Cinde’s desire to help others and see the world led her to become an Air Force nurse and serve once again. She especially enjoyed being stationed in Japan, where she had the opportunity to explore Asia. She would eventually separate from the Air Force as a Captain, and would transition into civilian life as a high-risk labor and delivery nurse at Thunderbird Hospital here in Phoenix. There, she met and married Scott Anderson. They would eventually move to Texas and welcome their son Kyle into their family. Cinde’s yearning to see the world allowed her and Kyle to see Europe and travel extensively. Her lifetime of love for abused animals was a passion, and that love was always exemplified by adapting rescued dogs and cats as members of their family. Cinde was a caring sister and a devoted and loving mother. She cared deeply for others and will be greatly missed.
