In addition to distinguished guests, students have been busy creating heartfelt tributes. They've been diligently coloring flags, each representing a life lost on that fateful day. These flags will be displayed outside the school, serving as a touching visual reminder of the significance of 9/11.

When students take on leadership roles in school, they gain valuable experience working with others, managing projects and making decisions. These skills are highly sought after by employers and can give students a competitive edge when entering the workforce or applying to post-secondary institutions.

As the local community and the district continue to experience growth, we look forward to future collaboration with the diverse business interests converging with our own. These partnerships are poised to yield mutual benefits for our students, staff and the broader community for years to come.

To establish a Paramedicine Employee Sponsorship and degree pathway opportunities across the system, Maricopa County Community College District has announced a partnership with American Medical Response.

In honor of the opening, Portillo’s celebrated with a ribbon cutting ceremony where Michael Portillo, vice president of restaurant support, presented its charity partners, Queen Creek 4-H and Queen Creek Schools Education Foundation, with checks from funds raised during the restaurant's sneak peek training meals Aug. 21-22.

Students must pass a state licensure clinical exam that requires the advanced instrumentation skills developed during their last two semesters while treating more complex periodontally involved patients.

Plumbing courses are being offered this semester, HVACr courses are coming in spring 2024 and masonry and solar classes will be available in summer 2024 at MCC's main Southern and Dobson Campus.
