Queen Creek Town Council to consider tentative budget for Fiscal Year 2024-25

Arizona law requires that all municipalities adopt an annual, balanced budget. The Fiscal Year 2024-25 budget totals $723.8 million, a 17% decrease from the Fiscal Year 2023-24 budget. Nearly 60% of the budget is for infrastructure investments, including $159.7 million to continue progress related to transportation improvements.

The Town of Queen Creek’s budget serves as a spending plan and communication tool. It incorporates projected revenues and expenses to develop a financial plan for the Fiscal Year, which begins July 1. The proposed budget, available for review on the town’s website, will be considered by the Town Council at the Wednesday, May 1 meeting for tentative approval, with the final approval scheduled for the Wednesday, May 15 Town Council meeting.
