Queen Creek offers free Water-Smart Workshops for residents; Composting 101 happening April 8

The town's Water-Smart Workshops are always conducted in the Zane Grey Room at the Queen Creek Library, located at 21802 S. Ellsworth Road.

The Town of Queen Creek offers a variety of free workshops taught by Master Gardeners and other local experts.

The next one, Composting 101, is happening this Saturday, April 8 at 9 a.m. and will be taught by Master Gardener Anne LeSenne. Composting is nature’s way of recycling and is one of the most powerful actions we can take to reduce trash and build healthy soil. Learn how to turn your food scraps and yard trimmings into compost, a value-added soil amendment.
