Tuesday, April 30 marks National Adopt A Shelter Pet Day and many pups have been in the care of the Arizona Animal Welfare League (AAWL) for months and have still not found their fur-ever home.
So May 1-15, AAWL will have waived adoption fees on all pets over 6 months old at both its main shelter, located in Phoenix at 25 N. 40th St., and at its Chandler Adoption Center, located inside the Chandler Fashion Center on the second floor, at 3111 W. Chandler Blvd.
This is made possible through BISSELL Pet Foundation’s “Empty the Shelters” initiative. This is a great time to shed some light on AAWL’s long-timers who are in need of a fur-ever home and can be taken home for free during this event.
