Friends for Life Treat Trot, Lure Course happening Nov. 4

The Lure Course will be going all morning and a coffee and coco bar will be available for the humans watching their pups having fun working off a morning of energy for a good cause. The second Treat Trot is a 5K loop for the big dogs and a little dog loop for the small canine kids, so everyone can participate.

It's going to be another fun Saturday of lure chasing and 5K trotting for the dogs in the East Valley at Friends for Life Animal Rescue.

From 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 4 the rescue's very own Scentral Park, located at 952 W. Melody Ave in Gilbert, will host its Lure Course fun for dogs to run for a $9 donation online with pre-registration HERE (note, a donation to Zeffy is optional and the suggested donation can be changed to any amount, including 0). Walk-ins are welcome for a $10 donation.

If that wasn't enough running for your pup, then you may want to stay for the rescue's second Treat Trot that will also take place Nov. 4 from 7:30 to 10 a.m. There will be a 5K loop for the big dogs and a little dog loop for the small canine kids, so everyone can participate. A $10 donation includes a swag bag, ticket to trot, human and pup treat bar, and admission to a single lure run at the Lure Course.

Your dog will not want to miss out on all these fun runs. Register for the Treat Trot 5K online HERE or at 7:30 a.m. on-site. The 5K trot kicks off at 8 a.m. with awards scheduled to be presented at 9:30 a.m. The Lure Course will be going all morning and a coffee and coco bar will be available for the humans watching their pups having fun working off a morning of energy for a good cause.
