Eastmark High welcomes new English teacher, John Trible

“I am super excited to be teaching 11th through 12th grade English this year at Eastmark," John Trible said.

Queen Creek Unified School District's Eastmark High School is welcoming a new face when school starts July 27.

John Trible will be teaching English at the Mesa high school for the 2022-23 school year.

“I am super excited to be teaching 11th through 12th grade English this year at Eastmark," Trible said. "This will be my first year teaching, as well as being a resident in Arizona. I grew up in Waukee, Iowa, and attended the University of Iowa for my undergrad, earning my bachelor's degree in English. I am currently finishing up my master's degree in teaching at Simpson College, which is in Indianola, Iowa, and is also where I completed my student teaching at the end of April.

"My family and I are all very happy to be in Phoenix and no longer having to worry about shoveling snow in the winter (thank goodness)," Trible continued. "In my free time, you'll most often find me working on some creative writing, golfing, fishing or spending an embarrassing amount of time trying to select a good movie to watch on Netflix.”
