Cirque Mechanics Theatrical Circus makes debut at Bell Bank Park May 19-28

Best described as a rowdy circus, the show features acrobats performing in tandem with cycling inspired devices.

Las Vegas-based Cirque Mechanics, a traveling theatrical circus company, is bringing its latest set of shows to Tixr Yard at Bell Bank Park near Queen Creek for eight days of performances, May 19-28. Best described as a rowdy circus with mischief on wheels, Cirque Mechanics Under Canvas will feature acrobats performing in tandem with cycling inspired devised all under a circus tent. 

The artistry and performance starts with a wacky bike shop mechanic interacting with cyclists and bikes. Accompanied by high flying trampoline artists, aerialists, trick cyclists and contortionists, the mechanic repairs more than broken pieces, he creates wondrous machines and inspires the cyclist in everyone to become a circus mechanic. In addition, the innovative strolling pedal driven devices will deliver the fun to the far reaches of the Tixr Yard grounds. There will be light bites and drinks available for purchase, along with the traditional circus fare.

Performances are:

  • Thursday, May 19 – 7 p.m.
  • Friday, May 20 – 7 p.m.
  • Saturday, May 21 –  10 a.m., 2 p.m. and 7 p.m
  • Sunday, May 22 – 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.
