Queen Creek Staples newly remodeled

Local office supply store reimagined

Staples in Queen Creek celebrated its newly remodeled store June 14 with a Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting and presentation of $1,000 to the Queen Creek Unified School District.

Scott Urich, general manager of the Staples store, presented the Queen Creek Unified School District with a $1,000 gift card to Staples. Educators and schools are encouraged to enroll in the Staples classroom rewards program. Parents can enroll in the Staples rewards program and get 5% back to give to teachers and schools.

“I want to thank everyone for coming out today and supporting our Staples store. It’s great being able to show off the new reinvention and all the great services we can offer to all in our great community,” said Urich. “To help our community grow, and that’s what we’re here to do to make our businesses better around us. I don’t survive without you guys, and so it’s important to me for you guys to do well.”

Urich was joined by Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce staff, local business owners and Queen Creek Councilman Bryan McClure.

“We love the businesses in Queen Creek, and this is such a great occasion. I want to congratulate you on a beautiful remodel. This is wonderful,” said McClure. “I love the additional services and things that will support our community. It’s not just the support and services you provide now, you’ve been here for a long time, a staple in our community. We’re just so excited for your growth and expansion, and just wanted to thank you for being such an important part of the community.”

Staples is located at 21168 E. Ocotillo Road in the Walmart center. They’ve been in the community for over a decade offering office and school supplies, print and marketing services, technology services and more. They now offer passport photo and expeditated passport services, and TSA pre-check.
