Pita Jungle celebrates National Pizza Month with alternative pizzas

It’s time to get cheesy because October is National Pizza Month.

Pita Jungle is offering a healthy alternative to traditional pizza by serving their pizza on wood fired lavash bread. A type of Mediterranean flatbread that’s thinner than a pita and similar to a tortilla. They also offer a gluten-free pizza crust available for any of their fan-favorite pizzas including Chipotle Chicken Lavash Pizza, Spinach and Pesto Lavash Pizza and even a good ole' Pita Crisp.

"Not unlike the healthy lifestyle Pita Jungle endorses, along with super healthy eats, our pizzas embody what a perfect pizza should be: It's all about the balance," said Bassel Osmani, co-founder of Pita Jungle. "In this case, a balance of ingredients and nutrients that are symmetrically distributed, and in the right proportions, on a thin, crisp lavash flatbread. With every bite engendering a cosmos of taste, texture and amazing nutrition. Some are vegetarian while others are endowed with high-quality lean proteins, truly, there's something for everyone."

The Queen Creek Pita Jungle is located at 20491 S. Rittenhouse Road, Suite H-101.
