Whether it's scorpions or ants, cockroaches or rodents, Jared and Morgan Brown have you covered. The Queen Creek couple launched JB’s Pest Control earlier this year.
The family-owned service is operated by the local duo and Morgan's father rounds out the pest control team. They cover the East Valley and will go as far south as Casa Grande.
Jared Brown insists their customer service sets them apart from other pest control providers.
“What I’ve found is a lot of people use the same products, they try to do the same thing, but there’s definitely a difference between providers,” he said. “I feel like it’s simple customer service that has been a separator for us.”
According to Brown, customers have told him they appreciate that JB’s Pest Control providers are punctual and answer the phone.
Brown has been in the pest control business since he was in college in Idaho. His older brother worked a summer job selling contracts for a pest control company, so he joined him in selling the contracts. Brown came back to the same company as a team manager another year and he stayed with the company through college and after, eventually working his way up to a regional sales manager position.
Brown stayed with the company for nine years before he and Morgan decided they were ready to branch out and start their own business.
They could have started the business anywhere, but they chose Arizona because they always enjoyed visiting and preferred the warm weather.
The couple and their three children moved from Utah to Arizona in September 2020 and JB’s Pest Control launched in July of 2021.
Brown said they liked Queen Creek’s small town feel when they were looking at houses and communities in the East Valley.
“Queen Creek had that small town feel with a lot of potential, and that’s where we felt like our company could really thrive. We thought it represented a great place to raise kids and grow with the community,” he said. “They’ve already gone through a lot of growth here, but there’s still so much more to come and I think it will be an exciting place to be a part of and help where we can.
“It’s exciting for us because I know we can replicate this,” Brown added. “We’re small and we can handle quite a few customers at this level.”
