March 9, 1955 – September 16, 2022

Logan F.  Boren of Mesa, Arizona, passed away on September 16, 2022.  Logan was the oldest child of J Donald Boren and Norma Nielson Boren.  He was born in St. Johns, Newfoundland on March 9, 1955.  

Logan graduated from Park Hills High School in Ohio in 1973.  While there he participated in tennis, wrestling, school choir and performing arts.  

After serving a full-time mission in Denmark for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Logan received his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and MBA and Law degrees from Arizona State University.  Logan and his wife, Luisa Lopez, were married in the Las Vegas temple in 1991.  Logan was active in his church, serving in numerous callings.  He was an Eagle Scout and enjoyed singing in the choir, playing softball and spending time with his family.  Logan will be remembered for his unwavering faith and willingness to serve the Lord throughout his life.  

He was preceded in death by his mother, Norma.  He is survived by his wife, Luisa, their two children, AudreyAnn and Chadwick, and grandson, Sterling.  He is also survived by his father, JD and siblings Jay (Donelle), Jon (Amber), Ann Doncaster (Steve), Brad (Staci), and Steve (Shelley).  

There will be a viewing Friday, September 23 from 6:00-8:00 pm.  A viewing Saturday, September 24 from 9:00-9:45 am, with a memorial service following at 10:00 am.  

All services to be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 7752 E. McDowell Rd Mesa, AZ. 85207.  Internment at Mountain View Cemetery.
