Dominick Frigo, Preceded in death by Father Joseph and Mother Theresa and beloved wife of 72 years Ann Frigo.

Veteran of the US Navy Serving on the USS Rollins 1944 to 1945. Witnessing the battles of Iwo Jima and Okinawa. He was a 30-year retired Chicago Police officer from 1956 to 1986. Assigned to Gang intelligence after being promoted to sergeant. Dominick advanced in rank to lieutenant and worked as the police liaison officer between the mayor’s office and police department.

Dominick’s dedication allowed him to work under three mayoral administrations Michael Bilandic, Jane Byrne, and Harold Washingtom. During this time, he was assigned to work with the Illinois Film Commission Working on the following movies The Blues Brothers, My Bodyguard, The Hunter, and Ordinary People. Was responsible for the traffic coordination for the Chicago Marathon, Chicago Fest, and for several US presidents and Pope John Paul II when they visited Chicago.

Survived by his two Children Wayne and Karen, six grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
