Cynthia Sue Fournier was born on July 26th, 1940 in Hutchinson Kansas, to Herbert and Virginia Wehry.

Cindy passed away peacefully the evening of August 19th 2022. Cindy was preceded in death by her husband Adrain Fournier, her daughter Julie Roldan (Thompson), her parents and both of her brothers. She was a truly giving Mother, Grandmother and Friend. Cindy left behind memories that will live on and be treasured by her daughter Lori (Jim); six grandchildren, Lindsay (Kevin), Kelly, Michael (Charlene), Tania, Jamie and Jordan; five great-grandchildren, Brandon, Brody, Michael, Lilly and Layla.

Cindy lived in Colorado most of her life where she was a stay-at-home mom. When her children were older, she started working for the Ft. Collins school district as a teacher’s aide, a job she thoroughly enjoyed. Cindy moved to Mesa, AZ in 1991 where she continued her work as a teacher’s aide at Sousa Elementary. She met a lot of friends and joined a wonderful group of women who played Bunco together every month, the Bunco Babes played together for approximately 30 years. Cindy loved to play cards and was a fierce opponent during the poker games at the clubhouse in her mobile home park.

Cindy had a strong faith and a strong relationship with her church and the group of Men & Women in her Bible Study group. Her strong faith guided her all through her life. Many will remember Cindy as someone with a huge heart and a true giving spirit. A Celebration of Cindy’s life will be held at Mountain View Mortuary on Friday, October 14th, 2022 at 3 pm.
