San Tan Valley FUSD schools to offer free breakfast, lunch for students this summer

Skyline Ranch Elementary School and Poston Butte High School will both offer free, healthy meals to students 18 years old or younger.

Free meals will be available for students 18 years old and younger at two San Tan Valley schools this summer, thanks to the Florence Unified School District.

In an effort to provide healthy meals and promote socialization for students. Skyline Ranch Elementary School and Poston Butte High School will be offering free breakfast, lunch and snacks through the summer, free of charge. 

Poston Butte High School, located at 32375 N. Gantzel Road in San Tan Valley, will be offering breakfast from 7:15 to 7:45 a.m. and lunch from 11:10 to 11:40 a.m. Monday through Thursday from May 30 to June 22. No meals will be served on June 19. 

Skyline Ranch Elementary School, located at 1084 W. San Tan Hills Dr. in San Tan Valley, will be serving meals from May 30 to July 14, Monday through Friday. Breakfast will be served from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m., lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to noon and a snack will be served from 3 to 4 p.m. Skyline Ranch will not be serving meals on July 4. 

In addition to the two San Tan Valley locations, Florence Library and Community Center will also be participating in the free meal program. Visit the library at 778 N. Main St. in Florence from May 30 to July 14, Monday through Friday. They will not be serving meals on June 19 or July 4. 

Breakfast will be served from 8 to 8:45 a.m., lunch will be served from noon to 12:45 p.m. and a snack will be served from 3 to 3:30 p.m.
