QCUSD summer camps starting soon

“With all the new coaches throughout the district this is a great jump start to get to know the students and build positive relationships with students,” said Community Education Director Ellie Hardt.

With school wrapping up on May 25 and students heading off for summer break, the Queen Creek Unified School District (QCUSD) Community Education Department is gearing up for its summer camps.

While QCUSD’s Discovery Kids camp registration is closed, there are still several extracurricular camps that are taking registrations. With over 70 Youth Athletic Programs (YAP) sports camps opening this summer, the off-season is seen as an opportunity to improve performance and skills.

“With all the new coaches throughout the district this is a great jump start to get to know the students and build positive relationships with students,” said Community Education Director Ellie Hardt.

There are spots still available for various summer camps. See below for more details.

Elementary Instrumental Summer Camp. This camp is for students who have played in band or orchestra during fifth and/or sixth grade. It lasts a week and will take place at Queen Creek Junior High School. Learn more here.
