QCSEF scholarships: Application deadline coming up March 8

“Many students don't realize that they qualify for these scholarships,” said Quincy Nelson, foundation secretary of QCSEF. “They should always apply. We have several scholarships to offer, and we are able to help many students whether they are going to a four-year university, a community college or a trade school.”

Every year, the Queen Creek Schools Education Foundation (QCSEF) raises money for scholarships and grants through charity events and donations.

This school year, QCSEF raised over $145,000 and will be using these funds to support teachers and students to excel academically and professionally.

QCSEF Foundation Scholarships are currently open and any QCUSD senior can apply, but the deadline is approaching as all applications are due this Wednesday, March 8.

“Many students don't realize that they qualify for these scholarships,” said Quincy Nelson, foundation secretary of QCSEF. “They should always apply. We have several scholarships to offer, and we are able to help many students whether they are going to a four-year university, a community college or a trade school.”

QCSEF will also be hosting its Fourth Annual Softball Tournament this Wednesday, March 8, at the Legacy Sports Complex at Bell Bank Park in Mesa. To participate, see QCSEF Softball Tournament information.
