Hogwarts is coming to QC: Queen Creek High School set to perform 'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child' this fall

The Queen Creek High School Theater Company recently competed in the Arizona Thespian Regional Acting Festivals, where they received the rank of superiors 32 times in the categories of Tech, Musical, Acting and Dance. The company is competing this week in the Musical Theatre Competitions of America.

Queen Creek High School Theater Company will be performing Harry Potter and the Cursed Child for its fall play.

Queen Creek High School will be one of the first high schools in the nation to perform the critically acclaimed play from the mind of J. K. Rowling.

The Queen Creek High School Theater Company recently competed in the Arizona Thespian Regional Acting Festivals, where they received the rank of superiors 32 times in the categories of Tech, Musical, Acting and Dance. The company is competing this week in the Musical Theatre Competitions of America.

It was announced in late 2023 that high schools would be able to officially license the play through Broadway Licensing Global starting in Queen Creek High School, but they had to be chosen. The theater department compiled an entry video and it was submitted to the panel of judges. They referenced the great news that they were one of the few schools in the nation to receive a license.
