Eastmark High School was finally able to host its first-ever homecoming parade on Friday, Sept, 17.

Mesa Fire Station 221 kicked off the parade while fans cheered on their favorite school teams and clubs. Firebird cheerleaders handed out candy to spectators while the school's band played. The dance team preformed and the pom line waved to everyone.

Eastmark High School Class of 2024, which made their way down the parade route too, will be the first class to graduate from the newest Queen Creek Unified School District (QCUSD) high school. Eastmark is actually located in Mesa, in the northern part of QCUSD's boundaries.

From the swim and dive teams to the girl's volleyball team, and the girl's soccer team to the girl's softball team encouraging fans to buy T-shirts, everyone was in the homecoming spirit after COVID-19 derailed last year's festivities.

Varsity football players waved to spectators, who were clearly excited about the season. Later in the evening, the Firebirds beat the Dysart Devils 50-13 on the school's football field.
