Eastmark High School mathematics students recently competed in the annual Marquee Math Competition in the press box at State Farm Stadium.
Having the chance to see the Cardinal's stadium in a way most people never will, each team of four worked together to submit their solutions to real world problems involving high-level mathematics.
Several teams from all over the state competed, but it was one of the Firebirds' four-person teams that took second place overall, winning $500 for the Eastmark Math Department.
