Eastmark High School defeated Florence High School on Friday, Oct. 29 to become Central Region Champions.
The score was tied 7-7 at halftime, and the Firebirds brought the score up to 41 to win the first Region Championship in Eastmark High School history.
The final score was 41-13.
Highlights include touchdowns by Jordan Howard-25, Mack Molander-10, Gianni Mascolino-2, and three touchdowns by Austin Johnston-11.
It was also senior night, and seniors on the team, in the marching band and on the pom spiritline were recognized.
It was the last home game of the season for the Firebirds. Their next game will be at River Valley High School on Friday, Nov. 5.
