If ASU Preparatory Academy’s graduating Class of 2024 is any indication, this upcoming cohort is poised to make big things happen.
Among this class of nearly 800 students are a swimmer headed to Olympic training, triplets planning to continue their studies overseas in New Zealand and one student who completed high school with a 4.0-plus GPA and a whopping 70 college credits.
These graduates and hundreds of their peers will gather to mark a major milestone in their education journey with a graduation ceremony on Thursday, May 16 at 7:30 p.m. inside the Desert Financial Arena on the Arizona State University Tempe campus, located at 600 E. Veterans Way.
The ceremony will encompass students from all five high schools within the ASU Prep network. More than 600 proud graduates are set to cross the stage, while dozens more national and international students from ASU Prep Digital will celebrate with their families at home via livestream.
Many ASU Prep students get an early introduction to ASU through concurrent-credit coursework and blended learning formats, so it’s no surprise that you’ll find 250 students from this graduating class at ASU this fall – many graduates having earned academic scholarships and entry to prestigious programs, thanks to the rigors of the ASU Prep curriculum. Dozens more nabbed highly coveted spots at other top-ranked colleges and universities across the nation, including Columbia College, Howard University and Vassar College.
The ASU Prep graduation ceremony encompasses nearly 800 graduating seniors representing the Class of 2024 from ASU Prep Casa Grande, ASU Prep Digital, ASU Prep Phoenix, ASU Prep South Phoenix and ASU Prep Polytechnic. Graduates span hundreds of local residents, as well as students from locations across the country and internationally.
ASU Prep is chartered by Arizona State University and serves more than 7,000 students across its network. ASU Prep uses innovative approaches to curriculum to prepare all students for success in graduating from a university.
