Town offering free shuttle service, parking for March 25 Spring into QC event

Shuttles will pick-up and drop-off attendees from both the Queen Creek Recreation Annex and Desert Mountain Park parking areas. The shuttles will operate from 8:15 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday and are stroller friendly. Both parking and shuttles are free.

The Town of Queen Creek Parks and Recreation Department is reminding residents to plan ahead of this Saturday's Spring Into QC event by considering taking the free shuttle service that will be available and reviewing the parking map they've provided to help make getting to and from this annual event a bit easier.

Spring into QC will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 25 at Mansel Carter Oasis Park, located at 19535 E. Appleby Road, where there will be minimal parking available. Additional parking will be available at the town's Recreation Annex, located at 21802 S. Ellsworth Road, and Desert Mountain Park, located at 22201 S. Hawes Road, with the free shuttles to and from the event site. There will be no street parking in the neighborhoods adjacent to the park.

This annual spring event in Queen Creek offers a variety of activities including a rodeo egg roundup for the little ones, live entertainment, billy goat bingo and the fast and the furriest, adorable animal races.

Don’t miss the Discovery Zone - the free area offers interactive exhibits and demonstrations. Experiences in the Discovery Zone will be offered by:

  • Kenzie’s Kids
  • Mommohelpinghands LLC CPR
  • Science Matters in America

The Discovery Zone will also feature a new craft area where families can create custom eggs, bunny headbands, picture frames and various coloring pages, all supplies will be provided.

Food and select activities will be available for purchase. Wristbands will be available for $15 with access to all inflatable attractions. The first 600 people to purchase wristbands will have access to Spring Into QC’s newest attraction, the bubble zone. Play in the mountains of magical bubbles with sessions every 40 minutes, beginning at 9:20 a.m. (limited to 100 people per session).
