Hundreds of thousands of art lovers will convene when the 46th Annual Tempe Festival for the Arts returns to downtown Tempe March 31-April 2. One of the Southwest’s longest-running festivals, the event celebrates visual artists across numerous mediums, along with a full slate of entertainment on multiple stages and culinary delights for a full sensory experience. The festival will be from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily this weekend.

The highlight of the festival is the collection of more than 350 juried artists from around the country who compete for top honors across 16 different categories from wood, photography and ceramics to glass, jewelry and other mediums. Artists will have their creations on display at booths lining downtown Tempe’s Mill Avenue and surrounding streets. Art aficionados will have the chance to immerse themselves in thousands of pieces of art on display, while also enjoying the option to purchase one-of-a-kind handmade gifts from the artists and a host of local vendors.

This is a dog friendly event. Leashed and well behaved canine companions are more than welcome at Tempe Festival of the Arts. Any dog within the event footprint must be leashed and no dogs will be allowed to wander at the full length of their leash (standard or retractable) in order to not impede the flow of foot traffic or disturb artwork on display.
