Queen Creek Town Council to consider tentative budget for Fiscal Year 2022-23

Arizona law requires that all municipalities adopt an annual, balanced budget. The Fiscal Year 2022-23 budget totals $730.2 million. Nearly 75% of the budget is for capital infrastructure investments, with $180.6 million for transportation improvements and $172.1 million for parks and trails infrastructure.

The Town of Queen Creek’s budget serves as a spending plan and communication tool. The budget is developed through incorporating both projected revenues and expenses. The proposed budget, available for review on the town’s website, will be considered by the Queen Creek Town Council at the May 4 meeting for tentative approval, with the final approval scheduled for the May 18 Town Council meeting.
