Queen Creek splash pads open for the season as weather warms up

The town offers two splash pads for families to enjoy as many begin spring break this weekend, but due to equipment failure in the water quality system, the Founders’ Park Splash Pad is closed until further notice.

The weather is finally warm enough this spring break to enjoy the splash pads that reopened this month around town.

Queen Creek offers two splash pads for families to enjoy. One is the Splash Pad at Mansel Park, featuring a shipwrecked-themed splash pad with various above ground water features, located at 19535 E. Appleby Road. It's open from 7 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. March through October.

The other is the Splash Pad at Founders' Park, with more than 4,000 square feet across the street from Town Hall featuring various above ground water features at 22407 S. Ellsworth Road. It's open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. during March, April, September and October; and from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. May through August.

NOTE: According to the town, "The Founders’ Park Splash Pad is closed until further notice due to equipment failure in the water quality system. Updates will be provided when they become available." The Mansel Carter Oasis Park splash pad is currently open.
