Queen Creek resident Jennifer Lindley has been re-elected to the Board of Directors of the Arizona Association for Economic Development.

Lindley is the downtown development manager at the Town of Queen Creek. Her representation on the statewide board helps with the continued economic growth of Queen Creek.

Representing both rural and metro communities across the state, the Arizona Association for Economic Development (AAED) also elected to its board this week: Amanda Bruno, project manager in the Office of Economic Initiatives at the City of Tucson; Suzanne Boyles, economic development manager with the City of Buckeye; Chad Schleicher, senior business development manager at the Weitz Company; and Kristen Stephenson, senior vice president of research and analytics at the Greater Phoenix Economic Council. They represent metro Arizona alongside re-elected members Lindley and Kristen Howard, business developer with IMEG Corp.

Representing rural Arizona are: Karime Hayer, business development coordinator at Yuma Economic Development; Richard Hernandez, executive director of Yavapai Colleges Regional Economic Development Center; and Tami Ursenbach, economic development director at Mohave County.

Continuing as advisors to the AAED Board of Directors are Lydia Aranda, president of border communities at Chicanos Por La Causa Inc.; Russ Yelton, founder and president of White Mountain Economic Development; Mackenzie Fitz-Gerald, economic development associate at Arizona Public Service; Jamie Kerr, vice president of rural economic development at the Arizona Commerce Authority; and Sarah Murley, principal at Applied Economics.

“These individuals are leaders in their communities and represent a cross-section of our statewide membership,” said Lori Collins, president of the AAED Board of Directors. “As the voice of economic development throughout Arizona, AAED will strongly benefit from the expertise and point of view they provide. We’re thrilled to welcome them to the board.”
