Queen Creek Community Blood Drive at library happening March 13

"Seven northern Arizona blood drives have been cancelled in this past week due to winter storms resulting in over an estimated 300 lost blood donations," said Sharon Ryan, senior donor recruitment account manager at Vitalant. "Valley blood donors are invited to help offset these lost donations for the sake of our own community blood supply."

This month's Town of Queen Creek Community Blood Drive in partnership with Vitalant will be on Monday, March 13.

You can donate from 1:30 to 6:30 p.m. that day in the Zane Grey Community Room at the Queen Creek Library, located at 21802 S. Ellsworth Road.

These monthly blood drives started as an emergency pandemic response. It is only with the help of generous blood donors that Vitalant can continue to be the sole blood provider for every hospital in Maricopa County.
